Since the end of episode 3 of Game of Thrones Season 8, the talking did not stop about the injustice the series did to the Night King.
What began as the biggest nightmare for the Westeros in 2011, could not last more than an episode.
Well, if you too feel the same, then there’s a potent reason not to lose your heart as the upcoming prequel series could explain a lot about the Night King.
Game of Thrones Prequel and the Night King
By far, all we know about the Night King is that he was created by the Children of the Forest, which we could see during the flashbacks of Bran. However, with the upcoming prequel series coming closer, it is broadly thought that fans would be able to get an insight into the origin of the Night King and his army of the dead.
The prequel is reported to be about 5000 years before the events of Game of Thrones. And, it’s going to chronicle “the world’s descent from the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.”
The actual synopsis reads –
“Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.”
It’s been confirmed that the upcoming prequel series will be called “Bloodmoon.”
About Age of Heroes
“Age of Heroes” is the period in which the Children of the Forest made their first pact with the human world after the White Walkers entered Westeros
The Children of the Forest with the humans managed to join the forces, and with the first members of the Night’s Watch were able to push the army of the dead back in The Battle for the Dawn.
Aimed at keeping the Westeros safe, Brand the Builder, who is the ancestor of the Stark, built the Wall using ice and magic that kept the Westeros safe until the Game of Thrones Season 8.
About the Night King and White Walkers
According to the information available about the upcoming prequel series, it seems as though we will see, in the series, more about the Night King and his army of the dead. What happened to the first person becoming the Night King to building an entire army of the dead that became the biggest nightmare of the Westeros? There are many questions that kept disturbing us, but we are finally going to get the answers soon in the prequel.
A bit of the prequel synopsis –
“And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.”
Though it’s annoying there’s no clearer picture of the things in Game of Thrones Series. What the prequel series is coming up with is that we need to wait and see.
