The First Teaser Trailer of ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel Released, and It’s doing Rounds on the Internet

Since the finale of Game of  Thrones series, the author George R.R. Martin has been teasing the minds of his fans with all the new news about prequel series of the show, pushing back the sixth novel in the series, The Winds of Winter, was no exception.

The fans were not over with the frustration and curiosity that the author surprised them with a new project taking place inside the universe in the meantime.

3 days ago, a teaser trailer for a new book called Fire and Blood was noticed on Martin’s Facebook page, which would take place before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire.

The Video

The short video can be seen beginning with the words,

“300 years before A Game of Thrones, dragon ruled Westeros…”

A crest appears to be on the side of breathing dragon in the video, and fire dancing at the bottom, that is actually teasing the history of the creatures in Westeros.

The details and the cover of the book are unveiled at the end of the teaser. As seen in the cover, Fire and Blood will show up “[a] history of the Targaryen Kings from Aegon the Conqueror to Aegon III.”

In a nutshell, this book will reveal a lot of secrets about the Targaryens, their dragons, and what actually led to their fall from the grace. Though the novels and TV series often reference these events, yet they have never been laid out leading us to the speculations about the same.

Fire and Blood will be available on November 20th, 2019, and it is currently available to pre-order now with an overwhelmingly 40% discount. One should take advantage of the deal if they can.
